Larry Kotlow“I am a General Dentist in beautiful San Diego. I love presenting on leading topics and I am committed to providing the best for my patients. In our practice, our hygienists ensure that their patients receive the best care they can offer. We have been using lasers for many years and we have found the new 1064 semi-conductor to be an irreplaceable part of our hygiene program. Bactericidal effects have been more than impressive, the tissue response have been great and most importantly our patients are getting great results and telling others.

In my opinion, the 1064XLASE is by far the fastest soft-tissue laser there is. Great results, I use it daily, must have product.

— Anthony Cardoza, DDS

Mark Cohen"As a conscientious “heart-health” periodontist seeking the upmost in laser therapy, I have been stunned by the consistently excellent results obtained by my Technology4Medicine 1064 diode laser. This laser is my 4th purchase having utilized a CO2, 810 and 980 laser since 2004.

The key differences are: (1) the ability to combine recombinant regenerative products alongside the laser therapy as the laser curettage removes the disease in the pocket but does NOT leave a charred surface; (2) drastically reduced post-operative pain and root sensitivity; (3) amazing lack of residual pockets, EVEN when least expected as in furcations in the molar regions.

The most gratifying feature of the T4Med 1064 laser is the patients’ willingness to complete ALL of their periodontal treatment AND continue with the recommended dental treatment. This laser removes the stigma of 'knife and stitches gum surgery.'"

Larry Kotlow“As a clinician I have always appreciated new technologies which genuinely improve the dentistry I can offer. As an educator, it's particularly important for my undergraduate students to understand how these instruments can be useful and efficient which will ultimately result in their patients' satisfaction and their practices' success. I believe this new 1064 nm semiconductor laser is a very good technology; and this instrument is a great example, especially with the very short pulse durations available. That allows for optimization of the laser-tissue interaction, allowing very smooth cutting with minimum thermal damage. The 1064 nm is my favorite wavelength since it was the first laser I purchased in late 1990. As a presenter, I also respect the company for producing a great product and being very responsive to comments. For example, the battery operation and bright green aiming beam are superlative features which give this laser a big advantage over other products.

— Donald J. Coluzzi, DDS

Larry Kotlow"Patient comfort and quality treatment are the highest priority in our practice. We have taken the time to learn about all of the laser technologies available today over the many years of using lasers for dental patient treatment. Not only do we find the 1064 to be a very fast tissue management device, we love the overall result, as do the patients. The tissue responds beautifully, heals very fast, and post operative pain is either gone or dramatically diminished."

— Ashley Goodman, DDS

Larry Kotlow"I have done research regarding periodontal disease and the use of lasers in periodontal disease therapy for many years. I have found the 1064 semi-conductor to be a very effective tool for my patients suffering from periodontal disease. I have personally performed research with this laser showing the impressive bactericidal effects of this laser and the ability of this wavelength, not just for killing bacteria but also removing the endotoxins, all of which need to be dealt with in caring for my patients."

— John Hendy, DDS

Larry Kotlow“I began using lasers in 2000, since then, I have invested in three different diode wavelengths, the 810 nm, the 980 nm and most recently the 1064nm diode. My investment in lasers immediately made them a necessity when completing many soft tissue procedures. The 1064 InGaAsP is a significant advancement over the two other wavelengths. It ablates soft tissue similar to erbium with the added benefit of total hemostasis rather than just controlling bleeding. As pediatric dentists, I want my patients to have the best care and as few post-surgical problems as possible and 1064 fulfills that need. Lasers are indeed the standard of care our patients should expect. I have found it exceptionally important when caring for infants as young as one day old.”

— Larry Kotlow, DDS

Robert Miller"I lecture about laser surgery around the world; I use only the best technologies and those that increase the bottom line for my practice. The new 1064XLASE is that technology.

The characteristics of this wavelength and system have big advantages in speed, control, and results. The micro pulse and kilohertz settings, green aiming beam, 10 watts peak power, and laser scalpel are things I've wanted in a laser -- and now we have it! Other features such as the On Board Video really take this device to a new level. These new protocols allow me to address a wide range of patient needs quickly and effectively."

— Robert J. Miller, MA, DDS, FACD, DABOI

Curtis Westersund"Too be successful in business or in dentistry you have to make every effort to do two things very well:

1) Provide the best service that technology can offer. In retail this is called “having something on the shelf”.

2) To distinguish your office as a progressive, modern and caring facility. In retail it is called “exceptional service”.

We have found the new 1064 laser to be a superior tool to increase the production in our practice, do procedures that we could not feasibly do before and leave an impression with the patient that we are not a “run of the mill” dental office. That is good business.”

— Curtis Westersund, DDS
