Universal Dental Laser System; no gimmicks, a true dual wavelength system It is a well-established fact that different dental procedures require different laser wavelengths. Dental Laser Wavelength is important because specific body tissues interact in different ways depending on the particular laser source. With the choice of two complementary wavelengths (in terms of their effect on tissues) LightWalker is the "universal" laser. Practically all laser-assisted dental treatments can be performed with either the most highly absorbed Er:YAG laser wavelength or the selectively absorbed, deeper penetrating Nd:YAG laser wavelength.

PIPS™ (new patent in technology and procedure) is a revolutionary method for chemically cleaning and debriding the root canal system using Er: YAG laser energy at sub-ablative power levels.

PIPS™ harnesses the power of the Er:YAG dental laser to create photoacoustic shock waves within the cleaning and debriding solutions introduced in the canal. The containment of the shockwaves thoroughly streams these solutions through the entire canal system, enhancing their effectiveness. The canals and subcanals are left clean and the dentinal tubules are free of smear layer. PIPS™ is equally effective for final water rinsing prior to obturation.

Wavelength-optimized Periodontal Therapy™ (WPT) Minimally invasive perio treatment only available with the LightWalker™ dual wavelength dental laser.

WPT™ is a minimally invasive method for treating periodontal disease utilizing Nd:YAG and Er:YAG laser energy with the LightWalker™.

WPT™ creates the optimal conditions for healing of periodontal disease by removing the diseased epithelial lining of the periodontal pocket, removing calculus from the root surface and sealing the pocket after treatment with a stable fibrin clot.
